I find it increasingly difficult to write when I am happy. It is almost as if my pen is only useful when I am suffering from mental wounds and emotional shame.

Wishing I could rid this writers block, without sacrificing happiness. Finding that balance.

Throughout her four years of college, she fell in love with the art of writing and the power of words.   1. What you are describing is not uncommon with writers. That said, writing is a way of positively channeling our dark side. It helps us externalise otherwise toxic emotions. It restores our ownership over our inner life.
